Do you know a farmer or rancher who has served our country in the military? Now is the time to nominate that special person—or people—for an award to be presented at the 56th Annual Triumph of Ag Expo in Omaha.
Nominating a veteran in ag is easy. Simply send an email to info@showofficeonline.com with the following info:
- The name of the person you would like to nominate.
- Information about the farming background of the person you’re nominating.
- Information about the military service of the person that you’re nominating.
- Any additional stories or information that showcase why this individual should be recognized for contributions either to agriculture or to the service of our country.
You can submit your information by typing it into your email, or by attaching a word document or nomination form to your email and filing by Feb. 22. Click here for the nomination form.
The Triumph of Ag Expo will be March 1 and 2, 2023, at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. The Center for Rural Affairs will have a booth at the event and will host a presentation on the topic of Managing the Risk of Conservation Implementation. The Center is a sponsor of the Veteran Farmer award.
All farmers and ranchers are welcome at this free event, which will feature a large indoor trade show, networking with peers, vendors, and other organizations, educational sessions, and technology demonstrations. We hope to see you there.
