Growing up in the small village of Snyder, Nebraska, I spent a lot of time around cattle and crops at our family farm just a few miles away from my childhood home. And after attending college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, my husband and I knew we wanted to get back to our roots and raise our kids in a rural community. The personalized feeling that comes with living in a small town is hard to beat.

Before being hired by the Center, I was a freelance graphic designer and branding contractor. I've also owned and operated a part-time photography business since 2012. I've been a nonofficial part of the Center team since 2016, when I began contracting graphic design services with it.

My husband, Brenn, and I have three children. As a family, we enjoy spending time at the lake and fixing up our 1915 home. Personally, I enjoy gardening and being involved in our community. Since moving back to the area in 2015, I've served on various boards and committees, and I've been involved in high school competitive speech since 2018.
