SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NEBRASKA – Registration is now open for the second annual Latina Women in Business Conference: Es Tu Turno, hosted by the Center for Rural Affairs and Small Business Administration. The event is in Spanish only.

The one-day conference is scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, at South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and close by 3:30 p.m.

The conference is dedicated to developing Latino women entrepreneurship in Nebraska, and features opportunities to share, learn, and network.

“At this one-day event, you will be connected with resources to help you and hear inspiring stories from peers,” said Jessica Campos, director of Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center. “If you currently own a business or are considering starting one, this conference is for you.”

Sessions will focus on marketing, leadership, financial wellness, and how to avoid predatory lending. Latina business owners on a panel will talk about opening a business during the pandemic and thriving during COVID.
