Free Spanish small business workshops set for December

GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA – Nebraska entrepreneurs and small business managers are invited to attend free workshops presented in Spanish and sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs.

The following four workshops will take place online, as well as in person at College Park, 3180 W. Highway 34, Room 103, in Grand Island, Nebraska.

  • “How to Attract Customers to Increase Revenue,” Monday, Dec. 6, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
  • “How to Attract Customers Using Strategic Locations,” Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
  • “Three Financial Statements Your Business Should Have,” Monday, Dec. 13, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
  • “Is Your Business Making a Profit?” Tuesday, Dec. 14, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

“Attracting customers to your business is key to making a profit, and targeting key demographics can make an even bigger difference,” said Jessica Campos, the Center’s Women’s Business Center director. “In these workshops, participants will learn how they can do this as well as discover the financial status of their business and maintain its overall financial health.”

The Center for Rural Affairs provides business training, one-on-one business counseling, business loans up to $250,000, and networking to small businesses in Nebraska.

The Center recommends that all participants wear face masks at indoor events.
