The Center for Rural Affairs pursues a mission to establish strong rural communities. We have been able to provide support for rural residents to start or expand existing businesses through grant, loan and training programs, to implement conservation practices on their farms and ranches, and to access proper lines credit with the help of federal programs.

Continued robust funding for programs, such as Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program (RMAP), Conservation Technical Assistance (CTA), Farming Opportunity Training and Outreach (FOTO), Local Agriculture Market Program (LAMP), Rural Business Development Grants (RBDG), Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE), and FSA loans, will provide important support for farmers, ranchers, and rural communities.
