CLEARWATER, NEBRASKA – A two-day QuickBooks workshop will be offered to local entrepreneurs and business owners on Wednesday March 20, and Wednesday March 27. This free event is sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs’ Rural Enterprise Assistance Project (REAP) Women’s Business Center and Clearwater Economic Development.

Both sessions are limited to 10 attendees, and will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Clearwater Fire Hall, Main Street, in Clearwater. Computers will be provided.

“Accurate recordkeeping can be beneficial to the success of an entrepreneur’s business,” said Kim Preston, REAP Women’s Business Center director. “Recordkeeping can quickly identify past due accounts and help collect those accounts in a more timely manner. That helps cash flow and viability.”

Small business owners will learn how to utilize the software for tracking their income and expenses, set up company files, create customers, vendors, run reports, and utilize the banking features.

Diann Ballard will lead the course. Registration is required by March 19. Contact Lauren Sheridan-Simonsen at 402.887.4447 or
