GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA – Entrepreneurs in the Grand Island area are invited to a multi-part strategic planning session starting Nov. 14. This free event will be held in Spanish and is hosted by the Center for Rural Affairs and University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension.

This four-part session will be take place Wednesday, Nov. 14, 21, and 28, and Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the UNL Extension Office, 3180 US-34, in Grand Island.

During this course, business owners will listen to and learn about different ideas or perceptions about how to manage their businesses.

“What is strategic planning? Where is your business at, and where is it heading? What is SWOT analysis? What is a vision and a mission?” said Griselda Rendon, Latino loan specialist with the Center for Rural Affairs. “Entrepreneurs attending this workshop will learn the answers to these questions and more.”

Rodrigo Gamboa will present the course.
