LYONS, NEBRASKA – Nebraska entrepreneurs and small business managers are invited to attend a variety of virtual workshops sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs.

Workshops offered in February include (all times are CT):

  • “Desktop QuickBooks Advanced” (Spanish) on Monday, Feb. 1, and Wednesday, Feb. 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • “Sales Acceleration” on Mondays and Thursdays, Feb. 1, 4, 8, and 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • “Getting Ready to Start My Business” on Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
  • “Sales Acceleration Advanced” (Spanish) on Tuesdays, Feb. 2 and 9, from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • “Create with Canva” (Spanish) on Wednesday, Feb. 3, from noon to 1 p.m.
  • “Google My Business” (Spanish) on Wednesday, Feb. 10, from noon to 1 p.m.
  • “Facebook Live” (Spanish) on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from noon to 1 p.m.
  • “8 Marketing Steps to Business Success” (Spanish) on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from noon to 1 p.m.

“Many small business owners are looking for new opportunities in the new year," said Jessica Campos, Center for Rural Affairs’ Women’s Business Center director. “These workshops are designed to help entrepreneurs adapt and grow in accounting and marketing.”

Center for Rural Affairs provides business training, technical assistance, microloans, and networking to small businesses in Nebraska.
