LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – Free one-on-one small business consultations are available by appointment on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Kim Preston, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director, will be available at the Lincoln Community Foundation Building, 215 Centennial Mall S #100, in Lincoln. In 2018, appointment dates are Oct. 23, Nov. 13 and 27, and Dec. 11.

Center for Rural Affairs provides business training, technical assistance, microloans, and networking to small businesses in Nebraska. The program is designed to assist businesses with 10 or fewer employees, self-employed, full-time, part-time, home-based, startup, and store-front businesses.

The Center for Rural Affairs also participates with the Alice Integrity Loan Fund, founded by Alice Dittman of Lincoln. These small business loans are available to businesses located in Butler, Cass, Colfax, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Otoe, Platte, Saline, Saunders, and Seward counties.
