Recognizing an outstanding veteran farmer

Farm and Food

For the first time, the Triumph of Ag Exposition will feature an award presented to a veteran in agriculture. According to the organizers, the 2022 show will provide an opportunity to recognize an outstanding farmer veteran who is dedicated to growing a successful farm operation as well as serving our country.

The Center for Rural Affairs will have a booth at the 55th annual expo, in Omaha, Nebraska, on March 2 and 3, 2022. Additionally, the Center will offer educational opportunities at the event, including sessions on farm to school and crop insurance.

This event welcomes a diverse array of farmers and ranchers who can look forward to accessing the trade show, visiting with peers and vendors, and taking part in educational sessions.

As part of the Center for Rural Affairs’ ongoing efforts to support military individuals and families engaging in agriculture, we are delighted to see this new award added to the lineup at the Triumph of Ag Expo. Please help us spread the word about the nomination process by sharing this article.
