Producers and landowners: Share your input on solar energy projects

Policy

Solar energy projects are becoming increasingly more common in rural areas. The Center for Rural Affairs endeavors to serve as a resource for communities and decision makers who are navigating such projects. This includes developing educational resources on opportunities for combining solar with agriculture (commonly called dual-use, or agrivoltaics).

We are currently surveying agricultural producers and landowners in the Midwest who are interested in solar energy. This information will inform our work to create landowner-focused resources and educational opportunities on dual-use and agrivoltaic practices.

If you are interested in sharing your thoughts, please fill out this voluntary, 9-question survey: Identifying Dual-Use Solar Interest and Resource Needs for Midwest Producers & Landowners.
