My responsibilities are diverse and range from team support to focusing on language accessibility initiatives. Notably, I've been developing a Spanish CDL Resource Guide, aimed at providing crucial support and resources to Spanish-speaking commercial drivers.

The Center drew me in with its compelling mission and values. The organization's commitment to creating positive change resonated deeply with me. I love being part of a team that makes a meaningful difference, and I take pride in being part of an organization dedicated to driving positive change in rural communities. What’s especially fulfilling is being able to extend this impact to Spanish-speaking individuals.

I hold a bachelor's degree in human services counseling from Wayne State College. My diverse professional background includes roles such as a Healthy Families advocate, hospital translator, and intern at Masonic Eastern Home, where I assisted with 4-H education and life skills development. These experiences have proven invaluable in shaping my skills and expertise and have directly benefited my current position.

Rural America holds a special place in my heart, having grown up in West Point, Nebraska, and now raising my children here. I’m deeply invested in this community, and rely on its resources to provide for my family. Being part of an organization that prioritizes the well-being of rural communities like mine is truly fulfilling.

I’m fortunate to share my life with my husband, Andrew, and our two children, Andrew Jr. and Leilani. Our family is complete with our dog, Sally. We live outside of West Point, where we enjoy a rural lifestyle surrounded by our animals, including chickens and cows.
