NEBRASKA CITY, NEBRASKA – Small business owners are invited to learn about online marketing tools in an interactive setting during a workshop organized by the Center for Rural Affairs and Southeast Community College.

“Online Marketing Strategies” will be held Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Southeast Community College Learning Center, 819 Central Ave., in Nebraska City.

The workshop will focus on building online relationships using websites, email marketing, and social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

“Often times business owners are tempted to use only social media for online marketing, but managing your broader online presence is a necessity," said Anna Pratt, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “Eighty-one percent of shoppers conduct online searches before buying. What do you want potential clients to learn about you?”

Diane Siefkes, owner of dkSolutions, and an online marketing consultant from Lincoln, Nebraska, will present the course.

Registration is required.
