I am the office and accounting assistant, which means I process weekly payables, bi-weekly payroll, donation processing, and other standard office/administrative duties. I have always worked in an office setting and love to work with numbers, so this role is the perfect fit.
For more than 30 years, I worked in health care patient accounts and Medicare billing. I came to the Center looking for a change and found that I love coming to work in the relaxed, quiet atmosphere our office provides.
My rural roots are strong; I grew up in rural America and have stayed here to raise my family with my husband, who is a farmer. We grow corn, beans, alfalfa, have cattle/calves, and recently started spraying with a drone.
Our kids and granddaughters live close to us so we get to spend quality time with them, which we love. Besides being Husker fans, we are also big KC Royals baseball fans, and we enjoy watching our kids in any activity they are involved in.

Never forget to say "I love you" to the people close to you, as you never know if it will be the last time you see them.
