About: Are you a farmer interested in selling to schools in southwest Iowa? If you’re looking to scale up to schools this year, join us for this day-long training that will help you complete the steps needed for school sales.
During the training, you will:
- Craft your introductory letter to schools
- Create your price and availability sheets
- Determine your products and delivery
- Learn farm safety planning
Participants who complete this training will be eligible for a $1,300 farm mini-grant for infrastructure improvements, new equipment, and other operational upgrades.
Following the training, ongoing technical assistance will be provided.

When: Friday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
