The goal of this event is to provide the most dynamic and comprehensive farming and local food systems conference in the state—take this opportunity to learn, innovate, and collaborate for a resilient food future.
Kirstin Bailey from the Center for Rural Affairs will present a session called “Explore Beekeeping, To Bee or Not To Bee.”
Session topics include:
- U.S. Department of Agriculture funds,
- Hydroponics as an agricultural enterprise,
- Profitable pollinator habitats,
- Conservation Implementation,
- Networking,
- Conservation plans for beginning farmers, and
- Financials for diversified farms.
When: Friday, Feb. 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a Social and Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 4, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Where: The Leadership Center, 2211 Q St., Aurora, Nebraska.
