About: Calling all food security stakeholders from across Nebraska. We invite you to participate in an important discussion about how to strengthen our food systems.
Despite being the nation’s fourth-largest farm state, much of Nebraska’s agricultural production is directed toward markets outside our communities. Join us as we host Ken Meter, an author and food systems expert from the Crossroads Resource Center. He will present findings from the 2024 Nebraska Farm & Food Economy report.
This event offers a unique opportunity to explore ways to enhance local food systems, which provide numerous benefits throughout Nebraska, alongside one of the leading authorities on local foodsheds.
