LYONS, NEBRASKA – A two-day QuickBooks workshop will be offered to local entrepreneurs and business owners on Monday, Nov. 5, and Monday, Nov. 12. This free event is sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center.
Both sessions are limited to five attendees, and will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lyons Public Library, 305 Main Street, in Lyons. Computers will be provided.
“Accurate recordkeeping can be beneficial to the success of a small business owner’s business,” said Kim Preston, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “Recordkeeping can quickly identify past due accounts and help collect those accounts in a more timely manner. That helps cash flow and viability.”
Los propietarios de pequeñas empresas aprenderán a utilizar el software para realizar un seguimiento de sus ingresos y gastos, configurar los archivos de la empresa, crear clientes y proveedores, generar informes y utilizar las funciones bancarias.
Kelly Abrahams of ASK Bookkeeping will lead the course. Registration is required by Nov. 2, 2018.
