LEXINGTON AND COLUMBUS, NEBRASKA – Nebraska entrepreneurs and small business managers are invited to attend two free workshops sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs.
All workshops offered in September are in-person classes, presented in Spanish:
- “Child Care Academy,” Saturdays, Sept. 18 and 25, and Oct. 2 and 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dawson Area Development, 1501 Plum Creek Parkway, Ste. 5, Lexington, Nebraska 68850
- “Social Media Workshop: Tools for your Business,” Mondays, Sept. 20 and 27, and Oct. 4, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Centro Hispano, 3214 25th St., Ste. 1, Columbus, Nebraska 68601
“Small business owners juggle a lot of roles, including bookkeeping to social media, to emergency response,” said Jessica Campos, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “Our workshops this month offer help in all of these areas.”

Center for Rural Affairs provides business training, one-on-one business counseling, business loans up to $250,000, and networking to small businesses in Nebraska.
