Farm and Food

About: Cold pressed juices can be a healthy and natural way to get some of your daily nutrient needs while using your excess produce. Our Cold Pressed Juicing workshop will explain what cold pressed juice really is and how to use it as a healthy addition to your diet. We will cover the nutritional value of various ingredients and discuss recipes that are easy, affordable, and nutrient-rich. A hands-on demonstration will be done on how to juice with an at-home juicing machine and how to properly store your cold pressed juices. All participants will enjoy a light meal and get to try a variety of recipes.
