Business Plan Basics offered to entrepreneurs in Cozad

Cozad, Neb. - Existing, transitioning, and startup small business owners have an opportunity to examine their ventures in “Business Plan Basics,” a workshop organized by the Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center and Cozad Development Corporation.

Five sessions will be held on Wednesdays starting May 2 to May 30, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Cozad Development Corporation, 121 W. 9th St., Cozad, Nebraska.

The workshop series will focus on marketing, promotion/advertising, financial management, customer relations, and goal setting. The Center uses the Business Plan Basics NxLevel Guide for microentrepreneurs curriculum.

"Planning is key to success in business, and these five hands-on exploratory sessions are designed for those thinking of starting a business, businesses that need a boost, and business owners considering exiting the business," said Monica Braun, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “Sessions will cover important information to complete a business plan.”
