As a native Nebraskan, and a lifelong resident of northeast Nebraska, I love being in a rural, small-town setting, where the traffic jams consist of a tractor going down the highway followed by a handful of cars.
My hope is to enrich the programs offered by the Center through my previous experiences in the world of grant writing. My husband and I own a small business in Snyder, Nebraska, and while some may think the vitality of our rural communities is waning, with the right guidance, direction, and nurturing, I see opportunity and growth.
My husband and I have four grown, ambitious, independent daughters, who are all teachers. When time permits, I enjoy watching sports, particularly softball and baseball, reading, and spending time with my growing family.
