My family has resided in northeast Nebraska for as long as I can remember. I am a multi-generational farmer’s daughter—I have seen my family go from raising cattle, hogs, and crops to now just crops.
I love living in a rural community where I know everyone and am able to thrive. Agriculture and rural communities have always been a huge part of my life, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to expand that love and importance than by working at the Center.
Working on marketing and communications gives me the opportunity to spread our mission and brand to the world, and help rural communities thrive, and that is a dream come true.
When I’m not working, I spend time with my friends, family, and my Golden Retriever named Piper Mae, or Piper for short, that I treat like my child. I also enjoy traveling and being outside, preferably on a boat, and staying active by playing sports with my friends.
