Farm and Community Program
Working with the Center gives me the opportunity to provide people with advice on how to improve the quality and quantity of their homegrown produce, and also teach people what kinds of foods will sell best at local markets so they can make a profit.
I am a member of the Santee Dakota Nation in Santee, Nebraska, and am currently employed as a Bureau of Indian Affairs wildfire fighter and part-time cook at Ohiya Casino, in Niobrara, Nebraska.
Spending time outdoors brings me great joy. I am extremely interested in training to be a chef as well as cooking Indigenous foods.
