A leading force engaging people and ideas in building a better future for rural America.
I’m from Raymond, Nebraska, a town of fewer than 200 people. All my experiences growing up in such a tight-knit community have led me to where I am today, for which I am extremely grateful.
From rural health access to wind energy ordinances, my work at the Center has exposed me to different policy issues that shape how our communities function. No two days are the same, and I am constantly learning new things that help me better serve our rural communities. I love that every day I work on projects that have a tremendous impact on my fellow Nebraskans in all aspects of their lives.
I hope to keep learning as much as I can about different areas of policy, become familiar with the challenges our rural communities face, and work to find solutions to those challenges.
In my free time, you can find me training for my next half marathon (number eight is coming up in October!) or at any country concert within a hundred miles.
