I was raised in El Paso, Texas, a big city where farming and small town areas were things I had only read about in books. During my first visit to Nebraska, I fell in love with the small town feel, where everyone waved hello.
Rural areas have so much to offer, and I want to be part of helping them grow and encouraging our young adults to return after college to help their rural areas. Giving back and volunteering is a significant part of my own personal values, and I am thrilled to work for an organization that values Nebraska communities as much as I do.
In my free time, I love spending time with family above all else. I am married and have a daughter attending college and twin boys in high school, as well as two Shih Tzus. My happy place is crafting and DIY projects.
