Originally, I’m from North Platte, Nebraska, but my career as a lender began in 1986, in Laramie, Wyoming. Since then, I have worked in north central Nebraka and western Wyoming for different financial institutions. I’ve done lending for consumer, commercial, and agriculture. The large majority of my customer base was involved in agriculture operations.
I’m excited to become a part of the Center’s staff. The Center’s emphasis on rural Nebraska is exciting to me. The goal of the Center is to assist people who have been turned away by a conventional bank. I like the concept, and that they focus on the health of Rural America.
Our rural areas should not be overlooked, as these areas produce the bulk of the goods and services that are necessary for the health of the U.S. These flyover states should be emphasized as one of the most important areas in the country. The education, support, and assistance the Center provides is critical for the continued health of our small towns. I look forward to doing my part to help make that happen.
