I grew up on my family’s farm in south central Nebraska. The values imparted on me from that rural community are firmly rooted in who I am, and align perfectly with those of the Center for Rural Affairs. That’s why I’m so glad to be part of a team committed to positively affecting the future of rural communities.

I've spent much of my professional career working with nonprofit organizations on various technology and marketing related initiatives. Often, I’m the one called on to help bridge the gap that can exist between business and technology to keep projects moving in a positive direction.

Currently, I reside in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, with my wife, Michelle, and our daughter, Ali. In our free time, we like to play in our garden and continue to develop a small granola company we founded in 2013, called BigGreenTomato.com.
