About: Learn how to improve food safety and marketing at the farmers market in this two-part series.

In Session 1, participants will learn about best practices and requirements for farmers market safety. Topics covered will be relevant to producers across the state of Nebraska and geared toward those who sell at farmers markets and want to know all the rules and regulations.

In Session 2, attendees will be shown marketing strategies and techniques for selling at farmers markets and retail stores. This workshop will provide valuable information to farmers who are looking to sell in new and existing farmers markets and to vendors and farmers market managers.

  • Session 1 - Food Safety at Farmers Market: Monday, Feb. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Session 2 - Marketing for Farmers: Wednesday, March 2, from 6 to 7 p.m.
