REAP Activities:
Two Computer Basics Workshops in Spanish will be offered in July by the REAP Hispanic Business Center in partnership with the University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension, Northeast Community College, and Wakefield Gardner Public Library. In August, a Business Plan Basics Training in Spanish is coming to Imperial. Look below for details on these and other events.

A networking social sponsored by REAP begins at 5:30 p.m. Then Connie Harvey of Efficiency Counts discusses how to keep good records and books and Mike Riese (UNL Kimmel’s summer intern) presents information on using Facebook and Linked In for businesses. 8/26 - 9/23, Business Plan Basics Training in Spanish, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Lied Imperial Public Library in Imperial, Nebraska. The series starts on Wednesday, August 26 and continues on the next four Wednesday evenings in September. 2/23 & 24, 2010, Fourth Annual MarketPlace Conference will be held at the Ramada Inn Convention Center in Kearney, Nebraska. This event, presented by the Center for Rural Affairs, REAP and our partners, is focused on strengthening small businesses and rural communities. Save the date and plan to attend!
