About: Beginning an agricultural business can be daunting; questions arise at every turn. Where to get land? Where to get financing? What will be the market? How will it stay afloat?

In this third of four workshops offered to beginning farmers and landowners, attendees will learn where to start in the agriculture business. This course will focus on routine financing. Instructed by Dave Goeller, retired deputy director of North Central Extension Risk Management Education Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and resource provider at Nebraska Rural Response Hotline, as well as input from other service providers.

Participants not familiar with Zoom are invited to login to the event 20 minutes early for a Zoom tutorial. During this session, project associate Justin Carter will lead participants through the technology being used during the workshop.

Registration (required by March 11): Registration has closed.
