SCOTTSBLUFF, NEBRASKA – Entrepreneurs in the Scottsbluff area are invited to a strategic planning workshop series in July. This free event will be held in Spanish and is hosted by the Center for Rural Affairs.

Dates are set for Friday, July 19, from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, July 20, from 8 a.m. to noon; Thursday, July 25, from 5 to 9 p.m.; and Friday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Riverside Business Plaza, 615 S. Beltline Hwy W., in Scottsbluff.

Each training session will last three hours, with the last hour of each session set aside for individual question and answer sessions or sidebar conversations.

During this course, business owners will listen to and learn about different ideas or perceptions about how to manage their businesses.

“What is strategic planning? Where is your business at, and where is it heading? What is SWOT analysis? What is a vision and a mission?” said Anthony Gurrola, Latino loan specialist with the Center for Rural Affairs. “Entrepreneurs attending this workshop will learn the answers to these questions and more."

Rodrigo Gamboa will instruct the course.

Registration is required by July 17.
