KEARNEY, NEBRASKA – Two Basic QuickBooks workshops will be offered to local entrepreneurs and business owners on Wednesday, Dec 5, and Wednesday, Dec. 12. These free events are sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center and Economic Development Council of Buffalo County.

Both sessions are limited to five attendees, and will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Economic Development Council of Buffalo County, 1007 2nd Avenue, in Kearney. Computers will be provided.

“Accurate recordkeeping can be beneficial to the success of a small business owner’s business,” said Kim Preston, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “Recordkeeping can quickly identify past due accounts and help collect those accounts in a more timely manner. That helps cash flow and viability.”

Small business owners will learn how to utilize the software for tracking their income and expenses, set up company files, create customers, vendors, run reports, and utilize the banking features.

Yetzira Cavillo Bermudez will lead the course. Registration is required.
