SCHUYLER, NEBRASKA - Center for Rural Affairs is hosting Financing Options for a Small Farm, a two-part series presented by farmers with experience using USDA Farm Service Agency programs, as well as Farm Service Agency managers. Farm Service Agency helps farmers and ranchers connect to farm loan, conservation reserve and commodity programs.

The workshops will be held on Sunday, Feb. 5, and Sunday, Feb. 26, both at 1 p.m. at the Schuyler Public Library, 1123 A St., presented in English and translated in Spanish. Participants should plan to participate in both sessions, with follow up assistance available after the workshops.

“We’re hoping to answer questions for those interested in starting a farm business. Participants can learn more about what financing options are available and what’s required,” said Lucia Schulz, project assistant at Center for Rural Affairs.

There is no cost to participate.

These workshops are sponsored by USDA Farm Service Agency, and hosted by Center for Rural Affairs.
