2010 Kansas MarketPlace Fast Approaching

It’s just over three months until the Kansas MarketPlace comes to Dodge City on Nov. 16 and 17, 2010. There’s a lot to look forward to including sessions on business development, marketing, financing, community development, agriculture, youth and technology.

Perhaps “20 Killer Marketing Ideas” from renowned marketer Dave Buchholz will entice you. Or “Agritourism: The Power of Packaging” with Jan Jantzen. Maybe you’d like to explore “Protecting and Growing Your Business” or “Financial Statements Made Easy.” You’ll have over 40 more sessions to choose from, ranging from email marketing to social media!

This year we’ve turned the exhibit area into the Resource Zone. The Zone is a great place for people from different fields to share their expertise with others. Attendees can get their questions answered by professionals while exhibitors share knowledge they have gained from personal experience.

Last year’s exhibitors included an attorney, financial professionals, agritourism professionals, consulting firms and a business coach. If you are interested in becoming an exhibitor, email Joy Marshall at joym@cfra.org or call 402.614.5558.

“Simply Kansas” will be back this year on Tuesday night, November 16. “Simply Kansas,” a signature program through the Kansas Department of Commerce, features all Kansas-grown food and supports the state and those who grew or developed the products. This opening reception is free to registered attendees and is highly recommended. Great food and a chance to network with other exhibitors, sponsors and attendees made “Simply Kansas” a big hit last year.
