Small Business Stabilization Grant Program reopens in Nebraska with expanded eligibility

Lending

The State of Nebraska is reopening the Small Business Stabilization Grant Program with expanded eligibility. Businesses who have 1 to 75 employees, lost revenue due to COVID-19, and withhold state income tax for employees are now eligible. This means the self employed are eligible.

You must act fast as the deadline is this Friday, July 17, at 4 p.m., and funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The application is not difficult to complete.

Potential grant applicants must certify their eligibility by clicking here. If deemed eligible, applicants will be notified via email and sent a confirmation number and link to complete a full application. Please note that the application material still says 5 to 49 employees in some places.

All interested businesses are strongly encouraged to view this user guide and this step-by-step instructional video. Complete program information can be found here.
