GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA – Entrepreneurs in the Grand Island area are invited to a multi-part strategic planning session starting March 19. This free event will be held in Spanish, and is hosted by the Center for Rural Affairs and the University of Nebraska-Extension.

This four-part session is set for Tuesday, March 19; Wednesday, March 20; Tuesday, March 26; and Wednesday, March 27, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at College Park, University of Nebraska-Extension Office, 3180 W US 34, in Grand Island.

During this course, business owners will listen to and learn about different ideas or perceptions about how to manage their businesses.

“What is strategic planning? Where is your business at, and where is it heading? What is SWOT analysis?” said Griselda Rendon, Latino loan specialist with the Center for Rural Affairs. “Entrepreneurs attending this workshop will learn the answers to these questions and more.”

Business owners will also learn about setting a mission and vision of their business if one is not in place.

Rodrigo Gamboa will present the course.

Registration is required by March 15. To register, contact Griselda Rendon at 308.850.4820 or griseldar@cfra.org.
