COLUMBUS, NEBRASKA – Registration is now open for the first-ever Empowerment for Latino Women in Business Conference, hosted by the Center for Rural Affairs and Small Business Administration. The event is in Spanish only.

The one-day conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Ramada Hotel & Conference Center, 265 33rd Ave., in Columbus, Nebraska. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and close by 3 p.m.

The conference is dedicated to developing Latino women entrepreneurship in Nebraska, and features opportunities to share, learn, and network.

“We want to provide Latino business women an opportunity to share their stories, learn about business management resources, and build relationships with other entrepreneurs,” said Anna Pratt, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center. “Stories from business women panelists, and information from speakers will inspire you and provide you with the tools for success.”

Sessions will focus on strategic planning, business management, marketing, and tools for success, as well as include testimonials from Latino business owners. The day wraps up with a panel of speakers focused on culture and inclusion.
