About: The Nebraska Farm to School program enriches the connection communities have with fresh, healthy food and local food producers by changing food purchasing and education practices at schools and early care and education settings.

At this event you will learn about resources that help you stay connected with Farm and School year-round, through keynote speakers and breakout sessions. With deeper dive into Farm to Schools concepts and plenty of opportunities to network.

Farmers and producers, school food service staff, educators, school administrators, early care and education providers, community members, local agency representatives, and non-profits are invited to convene with other farm to school stakeholders to share, learn, and collaborate.

Don't miss the breakout session with Center staff: Kirstin Bailey and Jenna Sutterfield, along with Craig Frederick and Tom Wheeldon. They will be presenting "From Seed to Success: Maximizing your Greenhouse & Garden Space," on Friday, Oct. 18 from 9:15 to 10 a.m.

Cost: $50.00, payable to Nebraska Department of Education. Includes dinner on Thursday and breakfast and lunch on Friday.

When: Thursday, Oct. 17, from noon to 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
