Nebraska Farm to School Summit 2014

We had a tremendous turnout at the Farm to School Summit! Attendees heard success stories, learned best practices, and connected with each other!

This effort will grow opportunities for Nebraska food producers, and healthy, delicious food options for our Nebraska students. You can read about it here and see photographs from the day here.

  • Fun ways for all the people and groups who make Farm to School programs possible to make connections and build relationships.
  • A lightning round of presentations that will highlight successful farm to school relationships, growing practices, policy development, and processing options.
  • Breakout sessions for the different farm to school stakeholders to hear from school and farmer panelists, and question/answer sessions.
  • World Café by region, promoting conversation and connections.
