Santee Farmers Market - Santee, Neb.
The Santee Farmers Market is now open for the 2018 season. Along with fresh, locally grown produce, visitors are able to purchase baked goods, including Amish goods, Indian tacos, and other prepared foods. Authentic Native American buffalo bone carvings, inlaid jewelry, and bead work from various artists are also available.

Where: Outside the Ohiya Casino and Resort, at 53142 Highway 12, east of Niobrara on the Santee Sioux Reservation
When: Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the season
Cost: Free to attend, cost varies on items available for purchase
The market is part of the Santee Garden and Market Project, a joint effort between the Center for Rural Affairs and Nebraska Indian Community College (NICC). Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) cards are accepted.
