Nebraska City Family Day - Nebraska City, Neb.
Family Day is an evening of fun featuring food and games, concluding with a performance of "Vang" and a facilitated audience discussion.
Who: Families and kids of all ages
When: Sunday, June 23, starting at 5 p.m.
Where: Rotten Apple, 301 E 4th Corso, Nebraska City, NE 68410
Cost: Free. Free will donations for the food and games will gladly be accepted. Proceeds will go toward disaster recovery assistance at the Nebraska Rural Response Hotline.
5 to 6:15 p.m. Good food, fun, games, and activities for kids of all ages.
6:30 p.m. "Vang": a play featuring four modern day immigrant farmer stories and their journey to get started in the U.S. Written by Iowa Poet Laureate, Mary Swander. The play will be followed by a facilitated audience discussion.
