Through these free trainings you will learn how to can, preserve, dehydrate your foods for winter storage.

Learn the benefits of canning your own food and how to brew your own healthy drinks. Presented by Bounthy Parker, Center for Rural Affairs market assistant.

Held on Tuesdays, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Nebraska Indian Community College, Macy

  • Oct. 30 - Intro to canning and preserving
  • Nov. 13 - Canning fruit/healthy beverages
  • Nov. 27 - Canning vegetables
  • Dec. 11 - Canning meats/soups

These workshops are free to the public, and snacks will be provided.
