Conservation practices in use - Lincoln, Neb.

Thursday, July 11, 2019

Join us to see multiple sites where conservation practices are in use in the rural Lincoln area.

When: Thursday, July 11, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Where: We will meet at our first conservation stop: the viewing platform behind Star City Motorsports, 2700 Whitehead Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska

Cost: Free

We will check out prairie plantings, pollinator habitats, fields where cover crops have been used, and some structural changes that folks made with conservation in mind. Let us know if there is something you would like to see.

We will rent vehicles to check out these sites, identified by the NRCS. Space is limited so make sure you RSVP. You can bring your own vehicle, if you would like.

Anyone may attend, and it is a free tour. If you are bringing friends or a spouse please RSVP for all attendees.
