Walthill, Nebraska - On Thursday, December 3, the second annual Christmas Bazaar will be held at the new Walthill Fire Hall from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The event will offer Native American artwork and jewelry, handmade star quilts & Pendleton blankets, and other holiday gifts. Patrons will be treated to a number of other activities of the Bazaar including a kid’s table, where games and crafts await - making the Christmas Bazaar an ideal family event. Local DJ, Garan Goons, will provide music and entertainment with his unique sense of humor.     
“Come and check out one of the most unique holiday shopping experiences you'll find in Northeast Nebraska ... or anywhere,” commented Suzi French with the Center for Rural Affairs.  “Bring your appetite and try fresh Indian tacos and homemade baked goods.”
French added, “We will have door prize drawings every half hour from 10:30-6pm. Everyone is invited to attend!”
The Christmas Bazaar is presented by the Center for Rural Affairs and Nebraska Indian Community College.

“If you sew it, make it, bead it or bake it this is the place for you," said French. “We are still accepting vendors who sell handmade crafts and homemade foods. Vendor space is free and we encourage vendors to bring their own tables.”
