A poll of rural voters in 25 Great Plains, Midwestern and Southeastern states was commissioned by the Center for Rural Affairs and completed in June 2013 by the nationally respected bipartisan polling team of Celinda Lake of Lake Research and Ed Goeas of The Tarrance Group.
The poll found that most small town and rural Americans believe their way of life is worth fighting for and support government action to strengthen it.
