Imperial is the site for REAP’s five-week Business Plan Basics training. The topics are being covered in Spanish and include Marketing, Advertising/Promotion, Customer Relations, Financial Management and Goal Setting.
This training is beneficial to anyone, whether in business or not. “Many of the principles found in the financial and goal section of a business plan can also be applied in your personal life,” said Nancy Flock, REAP Hispanic Business Specialist based in North Platte. “The future holds many surprises, and one day it could be the chance to turn a hobby into a business. Having the knowledge to plan for this startup venture will be crucial for the business to succeed.”
The registration fee of $79 includes a one-year membership to REAP, which provides the participant with opportunities for further education and one-on-one technical assistance. REAP members also have access to loans for their small business needs.
The Business Plan Basics training started on November 5 and ends on December 10. Sessions will be held every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Lied Imperial Public Library, with the exception of November 26.
