The Small Business Administration is dedicated to helping small businesses succeed. They provide online trainings covering many business topics and links to small business counseling, mentoring and training located around the country.
REAP offers two in-depth training sessions:
Business Plan Basics Training - in collaboration with NxLevel and Nebraska EDGE.
A business plan will give lenders and financial backers a full picture, give a "road map" for a future direction, help anticipate capital and equipment needs, and help you measure progress and anticipate problem areas.
Primary topics covered in 5 training sessions include Marketing, Customer Relations, Financial Management, Advertising/Promotion and Goal Setting. Click for more.
eBusiness: Selling on the Internet - in collaboration with University of Nebraska Extension.
Electronic commerce is more than selling goods and services online; it's using online resources and tools to do business better - more efficiently and productively. It's about making and saving money online.
Main topics covered in 4 sessions include See what's out there, Analyze your options, Learn how to entice website visitors, and Create an ecommerce business plan. Click for more.
These sessions are available in Spanish through arrangements with the REAP Hispanic Business Center.
