The Center for Rural Affairs is working with the Colorado Rural Development Center (CRDC) as the Supporting Sponsor to hold a MarketPlace: Opening Doors to Success in rural Colorado. That event is called Colorado Entrepreneurship MarketPlace and will be held October 10, 2008, at the Otero Junior College in LaJunta, CO.

Center for Rural Affairs staff have worked closely with CRDC to organize this event. CRDC is a private, nonprofit organization committed to influencing positive economic change in rural Colorado. MarketPlace was a perfect fit for their mission. They expect 500 at their first year's event with a minimum of 40 networking booths.
