Celebrate National Entrepreneurship Week
Advanced registrations for this year’s Marketplace eclipsed 500 some weeks ago. Marketplace’s focus on the role of entrepreneurship in revitalizing rural communities created quite a buzz in rural community and economic development circles last year. We expect it will again this year.
We hope you and others from your community are planning to attend and learn from the speakers, presenters and exhibitors. There’s ample time to network with other entrepreneurs and community leaders. They can share stories about their efforts to create genuine economic opportunity in rural Nebraska, stories you can take home and build on.
A host of other entrepreneur opportunities are available through the Center for Rural Affairs, Nebraska Department of Economic Development, USDA Rural Development, Small Business Administration and others. Many of these will be on exhibit at the conference. If you want to find out more about Marketplace, Entrepreneurship Week and other rural community development opportunities, give us call (402-687-2100).
